Hey guys,

I finally sat down and put together a step-by-step for the Fat Albert fly that I've been meaning to for a while. It's actually a pattern I have no experience with, but have been wanting to add to my terrestrial box for quite a while. With three layers of 2mm foam, it floats like a cork and makes for a great "Hopper" in Hopper-Dropper rigs.

In my case, I'm hoping to put it to use on some local warmwater streams as hopper season comes into full swing over the next few weeks. From the look of it, I imagine the local sunfish aren't going to be able to turn it down.

Here's the link:

Hope it's of interest to some of you.

Chris

Appreciate it, strummer. Did the email notice happen to come through when the post went live?
