Robin--I tied up a couple of these, with a bit of variation.  First, I added bead chain eyes (between the first two segments behind the hook eye) to help get down.  I had no leech hair, so I did what most will do--looked for a sub at the tying desk.  Decided to use peacock ice dubbing. This fly was great on the Guadalupe this morning.  Caught some large orange and yellow belly sunfish and several bass.   

Thanks for providing the recipe!  I like tying with foam and this fly takes many good fly characteristics  and "ties" them together.
