Materials
Body: Senyos wiggle shank
Tail: clump of fur from hares mask
Body: Dubbed hares mask fur
Rib: UTC copper wire, small size
Thread: Black, brown or tan

Thorax:
Size 12 wet fly hook, here I used Kamasan B170. If you dont use a bead, select a heavy wire hook, like the Kamasan B175
Connection: Monofilament
Body: Hare's ear plus dubbing mixed with fur from the hares mask
Wingcase: pheasant tail fibers
Legs: Partridge hackle
Copper bead optional

1. Start with the shank in the vise and take the thread to about half way down
Image

2. Tie in a clump of fur from a hares mask, including some stiffer guard hairs, with a couple loose open wraps, and trim the ends at an angle.
Image

3. Tidy up the front part with close wraps
Image

4. Take a length of the copper wire and secure in to the shank, winding all the way to the tail.
The wire should be under the shank at the tail.
Image

5. Dub a body of fur from the mask, making it slightly fatter at the front.
Image

6. Wind your rib with 5 or 6 open wraps, secure it and form a neat head. This completes the wiggle tail part.
Image

If you're gonna tie a bead head, use beads corresponding to the size hook. Here, 3mm beads for size 12 hooks.
Image

I used mono to attached the wiggle shank to the front hook.
Image

7. Put the bead on the hook, secure it in the vise and lay down a layer of thread.
Image

8. Tie in one end of the mono on the far side of the hook.
Image

9. Thread the loose end through the under side of the eye on the shank and secure the end to the near side of the hook.
Image

10. Tie in 5 or 6 pheasant tail fibers for the wing case, and trip the ends at a angle as with the fur previously
Image

11. secure them all the way to behind the bead
Image

12. Take some Hares ear plus dubbing, here i used the 'hares ear' color in the upper right.
Image

13. Add to is some fur from the mask and blend it by pulling the fibers between your fingers.
Image

14. You should end up with a nice blend. I used the 'plus' and mask fur because the HE+ dubbin in the color i selected was more grey than the mask fur. You can use a color of HE+ dubbin more like the color of your mask with out adding mask fur if you prefer to do it that way.
The HE+ dubbin adds a little sparkle to the thorax that is missing because of no rib.
Image

15. Make dubbing noodle or loop and dub the thorax
Image

16. Leave about one bead width behind the bead to tie in the hackle
Image

17. Secure the hackle, with fibers about as long as the hook.
Image

18. Fold back the tip and secure it, then trim off the excess. Doing the double tie in like this
makes the connection stronger when wrapping the hackle.
Image

19. Wind the hackle full, stroking back the fibers as you wind. You should get about 2-3 turns of the partridge hackle.
Image

20. Stroke down the hackles and bring the pheasant tail thorax forward and secure, then fold back the tips and secure those again, as with the hackle tip. Trim the excess
Image

21.You should end up with something like this. I'm not too fond of the thread behind the bead...
Image

22. So i dub a bit more of the fur just to tide up. Whip finish and add some cement to the underside whip finish knot. pick the fur over the thread if necessary.
Image

23. All thats left now, is to trim the shank. Stroke back the tail to the TOP SIDE of the shank and
cut the excess off pretty close to the base. Be careful no to cut the thread wraps at the body.
Image

Finished fly!

Hope you like it. An alternative it is use no bead and just finish with a thread head, or use a gold bead and gold wire for the rib on the wiggle part!

Get some tied up!

I bet the movement on that fly is irresistable to most fish.
